Thoulali/Verger in the lead after 5th leg of Rallye Maroc Classic 2014

As the Rallye Maroc returns from the desert, the top ten in the general classification has a new look: Thoulali/Verger in their Porsche 911 T will start the sixth leg from Ouarazate to Marrakech as leaders. The Cerezo brothers follow just 1.3 points behind. New entrants in the top ten are Galvan/Lolmede in their Porsche 930. Here’s the top ten after the fifth leg:

Cerezo Brothers still leading – Kaiser/Kaiser back in the Top Ten

The fourth leg of the Rallye Maroc Classic 2014 left Cerezo/Cerezo in an excellent position again. Having resolved their technical problems, Kaiser/Kaiser made an impressive comeback. On the stage from Boumalne Dades to M’Hamid, last year’s winners made up enough ground to get back into the top ten. Here is the top ten after the fourth leg:

Cerezo/Cerezo in the lead after three days

Team Cerezo/Cerezo leads the Rallye Maroc Classic 2014 after three days of competition. The Spanish duo, in a Jaguar XK140, are followed by Touhlali/Verger (Porsche 911).  Having resolved the problems with their Tripmaster, last year’s winners Kaiser/Kaiser are gaining ground and now rank 14th. Here’s the top ten:

The first leg of the Rallye Maroc Classic 2014 runs from Casablanca to Fez. At Ben Slimane the rally convoy made a stop at an airfield. A course was marked out, and the cars all had to drive it at as close to a constant speed as possible.  (more…)
