Kaiser/Kaiser consolidate lead as the race enters the desert

Out of the mountains and into the desert, via the spectacular Gorges du Todra: the fourth stage managed to show off Morocco’s incredibly varied landscape and beauty in a single day. Thanks to their consistently good performances, Fritz and Birgit Kaiser finished the day still in overall lead in the Classic Cars category with their Mercedes 300SL. They are now followed by Olivier Susset and Philippe Gauthier (Cobra Shelby) in second place, though neither team managed to win one of today’s 4 ERR. These were taken by Cerezo/Cerezo (Jaguar 140XK), Depondt/Vanboeskstal (Porsche 911 S), Thouvenin/Thouvenin (Jaguar Type E), and Ghisterlink/David (Mercedes 280 SE Coupe). In the Prestige Category, the Nuyttens/El Galai duo (Mercedes 55SL AMG) has taken over the lead.
