Intense competition on longest leg of the Rallye Maroc Classic

470 kms and 3ERR were scheduled for the second day in of the Morocco Classic , which promised to be the longest of the entire rallye. Two crews showcased did particularly well throughout the day and tooksettled in  command of the race: Birgit and Fritz Kaiser (300SL) won the first stage, is ranked came second in the second, and third in the last! Pierre Carlos and Georgina Galvan won the last two events and were consolidateding their place in the overall lead.

Special mention should be made of To be note the a remarkable performance of by Damien and Emilie Courtens, who secured 6th place tonight at the wheel of their Morgan 3 Wheeler – , though the vehicle was not  the most obvious vehicle to handle on the mountain roads of Morocco.

In category the Prestige category, the day was dominated by Nabil and Selma Lahlou (Porsche 997), who lead the overall standings, and Bruno and Dounia Nuyttens (AMG Mercedes 55SL), the first leading the overall standings.

Tomorrow brings a shorter leg, with , a day less loaded km expects competitors to connect driving from Ouarzazate – to Boulmane Dades. Schedulded, Three 3 ERR are scheduled for the plotted in the mythical Dades Gorges, which the rallye visits for the first time in its 20 runnings that the rally will drive for the first time in 20 editions.
